Extended Day 2023-2024 School Year Enrollment Data

The goal of the Extended Day Program is to serve all eligible families in need of before and after school child care. However, this year staffing challenges have resulted in reduced capacity and waitlists at most schools. Extended Day is working closely with APS Human Resources staff to recruit and retain staff. Program capacity will increase as staff is hired. The staffing efforts will continue throughout the spring and summer in an effort to enroll as many children as possible for the 2023-2024 school year. The chart below, which will be updated periodically, indicates the current projected capacity for each Extended Day program for the 2023-2024 school year, based on the required staff-to-child ratios:
